i just thought it was a beautiful picture. Diane von Furstenberg seems to like normal (but very pretty) looking models.

the date in the drawing hints at a possible beginning of daily drawings? who knows. procrastination hath no schedule.

i dont mean to make their eyes so heavily lined. its just a result of covering up the many wrong lines. haha. esp the first one. had to use super eyelashes to make up for the imbalance of eye:nose size ratio. haha.

speaking of eyelashes. i finally bought the majolica majorca mascara. haha. tried it on, and it delivers so well, i cannot wear it when i'm wearing glasses. because it makes my lashes touch the glasses lens. haha.

quick sketch quick colouring. because im sick of looking at characters with sharp noses, sharp chins, tiny waist, long fingers, perfect hair and shapely legs. if i can't have said features, neither can my creations! bwahahahaha

i didn't plan on her looking so.. intense. haha. the top of the very few things i like about this pic is how the legs and feet turned out.

just an experiment. trying to overcome my fear of drawing complete human faces. still an eye and an eyebrow away from it.
u say ugly i say unconventionally beautiful. haih maybe i'm still holding on to the hope that one day (big) flat noses and chubby cheeks will be THE look. and uneven eyebrows. pimple scars. chicken pox scars. ...

hello colour saturation inconsistency. haih. took these photos thinking aih lazy, i'll just adjust colours,levels,etc in PS. after uploading, became too lazy to start up PS, so just used iPhoto. i heart iPhoto's export function.

the only times i've drawn in the sketchbook this year is during church celebs. but in my defense, it's the only way i manage to stay away thruout the whole message and i DO listen to the sermon.
